piCture pOlish Blog Fest 2012

Oi meninas,

Tudo bem?!

Vocês ainda não devem ter notado, porque o Le Vernis é o primeiro blog em que clicam todo o dia ;), mas hoje, por essa blogoesfera há muito piCture pOlish! 🙂

Pois é, mais uma edição do “piCture pOlish Blog Fest” em que o Le Vernis tem o prazer de participar!

Lembram desse post da Ju? O Blog Fest já vai na segunda edição, é uma iniciativa fantástica da piCture pOlish, que dessa forma tem todas as suas cores de esmaltes fotografadas, comentadas e publicadas na internet. Para isso, eles enviaram esmaltes para vários blogs no mundo todo e todos os reviews, foram ou serão, postados hoje. Há dezenas de blogs participando no festival (mais de 80 ao todo!).

Como a empresa é australiana, e a iniciativa é global, o post será bilingue, em português e inglês para que mais meninas possam entender. Não estou acostumada a escrever em inglês, pelo que peço que relevem eventuais erros! 🙂

As meninas escolheram 2 cores lindas para nos enviar, são elas:

I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but today, there’s a lot of piCture pOlish polishes all over the blogosphere! 🙂
We are heading to the second edition of the “Picture polish Blog Fest” in which the Le Vernis is proud to participate again! This is is a fantastic initiative of the piCture pOlish, which, has all the colors of their nail polishes photographed, reviewed and published on the Internet. They sent 2 polishes for blogs all around the world, and all the reviews, have been or will be posted today. There are dozens of blogs (80+!) participating in the festival.

As the company is Australian, and the initiative is global, this post will be written in Portuguese and in English so that more girls can understand. I’m not used to write in English, forgive me in advance for any mistakes I make along the way  🙂

Orbit é um novo tom e vai estar disponível na loja da piCture pOlish online. As meninas o definem como “Mesh shade”, mesh significa malha, rede… Entendo perfeitamente o nome, dado que o esmalte me lembra mesmo as cotas de malha usadas pelos soldados na idade média!

O orbit é  um azul royal com glitter prata. Dito assim, parece simples, mas não é! É difícil descrever o esmalte, e lendo só isso, sem ver as fotos, não conseguem ter noção do quão bonito e diferente ele é.

Acredito que para as manicures mais talentosas uma camada baste, a cobertura é óptima,  a cor fecha completamente na primeira camada e a aplicação é tranquila. Já eu que sou descoordenada, tive que passar duas para cobrir completamente as falhas que deixei na primeira. Como todo o esmalte com glitter, ele fica com um pouco de relevo, e com uma textura áspera na unha, mas nada que uma boa camada de Seche Vite não resolva e deixe completamente liso.

Eu fiz fotos antes e depois do top coat para que possam comparar. As de cima estão sem, e as que se seguem estão com.

Orbit is a new ‘Mesh’ shade and will be available from piCture pOlish on-line and from all Network members! I totally understand the definition, it really resseambles the chain armours used in medieval ages!

The orbit is a royal blue with silver glitter. It seems simple, when you say it lake that, but it isn’t! It’s difficult to describe this shade, so just by reading my description, without seeing the photos, you can’t have an idea of ​​how beautiful and different it is.

For the most talented manicures one layer will be enough, the coverage is great the application is quite easy and you can get full color coverage in the first layer. Since I’m not such talented, (I’m quite messy actualy), I had to apply two coats to achieve full coverage. Like all polishes with glitter, it leaves a rough texture on the nail, but nothing that a good layer of seche Vite doess’t solve and leave completely smooth.

 I took pictures before and after top coat so that. First two without TC, the following two with.

 

Ele é lindo de qualquer forma, mas eu pessoalmente gosto mais do efeito sem TC. Acho que o glitter fica mais evidente, e o esmalte fica menos comum. A secagem foi relativamente rápida, o que também ajuda na hora de decidir passar top coat ou não.

Usei por 3 dias e eles estava perfeito, sem uma lasquinha sequer. Maior dó de tirar essa belezura, mas queria passar o mirage a tempo do festival, teve que ser!

Na hora de limpar surge o drama! Os cantinhos já tinham sido complicados, porque glitter gruda mesmo, mas sofri mesmo foi na hora de tirar tudo! Vocês sabem como é, né?! As minhas mão ficaram cheias de brilhos, mas nada que água e sabonete em abundância não tenham resolvido!

He‘s gorgeous anyway, but I personally like more without TC. The sparkle is more evident, and enhances the beauty of the polish. The drying process was relatively fast, so you dont actually need to use a top coat – so you can decide whether or not to use top coat based on texture only.
Wear time was fantastic! I wore this for three days straight with no tipwear or chipping. I was actually sad to take it off – such a pity saying goodbye to this gorgeous, unfortunately it had to be done since cause I needed to swatch mirage in time for the blog festival.
Drama arrived at cleaning time! This glitter really sticks on the nail! You know how it is, huh? My hands were full of sparkle, but nothing that a good dose of water and soap haven’t solved!

mirage – visão ou fantasia é uma ilusão!

Mirage também é novo e muito especial, é da nova “Collaboration Collection” e foi criado em parceria com Sara Hassan. Tal como o orbit estará disponível na loja da piCture pOlish online, bem como em todos os revendedores oficiais.

Como podem ver na foto ele é duochrome, varia entre o verde azulado e o lilás rosado. Sendo duo, passei antes o Andreia 19, pretinho básico, para que o duo mostrasse toda a sua magia, depois duas camadas do mirage e para finalizar o meu amdo Seche Vite. Sofri um pouco com ele, como já mencionei acima não sou uma manicure muito talentosa, e a fórmula do mirage não ajudou. Ele é um pouco grosso, e as cerdas do pincel ficaram marcadas.

As you can see in the picture he’s duochrome, goes from bluish green to pink and lilac. To really show the duochrome magic effect I choose to use a dark base, Andreia 19 (my basic black), and then two layers of mirage. I suffered a bit with him, as I mentioned above I am not a very talented manicurist, and the formula of the mirage did not help. He is a little thick, causing the brush strokes to be evident

Ele deu algumas bolhinhas, conseguem ver no anelar, claro que o calor intenso que se tem feito sentir por aqui tem uma parte da culpa! Eu não tenho para comparar, mas achei a cara do Radium da Big Universo. Confesso que adoro duochrome, mas esta não é das minhas variações de cor preferidas. Usei por 3 dias, e tal como o orbit, se manteve perfeito!
